Peaceful and characterful 1-bedroom apartment that's part of a Victorian house from 1830
We call it the Folk Art Studio because it has a primitive, imperfect, colorful feel, but is also very comfortable and quite modern. Fully stocked kitchen, bath with tub, washer-dryer, work space, good wifi, lovely living room, round dining table, and private garden access. It’s on a quiet country road that offers historic houses and fantastic access to the Berkshires.
Bedroom, jewel box kitchen with butcher block countertops, living room with folk art on floors and walls, lovely grounds and plantings. The outdoor has a front porch with dining table, plantings all around, screened garden with small table in back.

Note: short doorways; Folk Art is front half of Victorian house; rest of the house is used for storage with separate back entrance.
I stayed in the cottage apartment for the month of July and found Joe and Fiona to be amazing hosts. They live across the stree and were responsive to my every need. The apartment has a nice airy feel to it with a good sized living area and bedroom.

I can’t say enough about the Art Studio. It was a pic and span, beautifully and thoughtfully furnished, and equipped with everything we needed, including copious notes on local and regional groceries, restaurants, art museums and entertainment throughout the NY and MA Berkshires area.

Joe and Fiona are amazing- best hosts I’ve ever had!!! The house is so gorgeous and in a peaceful area- I love how cozy and artsy it feels. Joe stocked the house with everything I needed and then some, and he regularly checked in on me in my long stay.
